Getting Started

Welcome to JPool! This guide walks you through everything you need to start staking SOL and earning rewards.

INFO

We keep a transparent up to date list of fees on our info page. In case of any fee changes, we will announce them in advance.

New to liquid staking?

Get familiar with the essentials first: JSOL and APY, using JSOL in DeFi, and how rewards accrue.

Set up a wallet

To interact with JPool, you need a Solana-compatible wallet. Here are the most popular options:

Once your wallet is set up, fund it with SOL (you can buy SOL on any major exchange and transfer it to your wallet address).

Choose a staking strategy

JPool offers four staking strategies to suit different needs. Pick the one that aligns with your goals, or compare them side by side:

Balanced Liquid Staking
Effortless staking through the Smart Delegation Strategy. You receive JSOL and keep full liquidity.
Incentivized Liquid Staking
Stake directly to a validator of choice, bind existing JSOL, and earn incentive rewards from active campaigns.
Leveraged Staking
Amplify your yield using flash loans, at the cost of increased risk. For advanced users.
Native Staking
Classic Solana staking with no liquid token. The simplest, lowest risk option.

Not sure which to pick? Start with Balanced Liquid Staking. It's the simplest way to earn rewards.

Once you've staked, you can track your active positions and rewards anytime in your Portfolio.

Extra opportunities

Go beyond staking and explore additional ways to earn and engage with the JPool ecosystem:

Incentive Rewards
Direct-stake to a validator running an incentive campaign and automatically earn extra rewards on top of your staking yield, claimable anytime.
Solana Campus
An open, free, self-paced curriculum for Solana, from your first stake to running a validator. Earn a certificate on completion.
Chainbook
